Guadalupe Valley Telecommunications Cooperative Inc. (GVTC) is the largest telephone co-operative in the State of Texas and the ninth largest local exchange carrier in Texas. When GVTC decided to bring their ISP services in-house, Shadowplay.net delivered a robust network, server and application architecture solution. The project was a complete success as GVTC customers experienced no service interruption with complete access to their mail, webhost, ftp and account data. For GVTC the switch from an outsourced ISP to the new in-house capabilities was seamless, potentially saving them hundreds of thousands of dollars each year. Behind the scenes over 12 servers were installed and configured. Now the organization's fundamental ISP infrastructure is more solid than ever before. The migration included:
